Thunderstruck

Monday night Rusty and I went to see AC/DC. Needless to say it was totally fucking amazing.

I called the Forum before we left and they said cameras weren't allowed, so I didn't bring my camera. Then of course they gave my handbag the most cursory of searches and everyone inside had cameras. (Oh well -- I bet if I had brought my camera they would have done a thorough check of my bag and it would have been taken away.) So I wish I had my own photos but unfortunately I don't.

Anyway, the show was incredible. If you know me at all you know that I'm a huge AC/DC fan. I'm pretty sure that this concert was the closest thing to religious experience I've ever had (and I was raised in the Catholic Church). Angus and Brian are both total beasts -- I guarantee that I would not have been able to keep moving and rocking with the intensity that they did for the two-hour set. They played five songs off the new album and everything else was classic jams. I could have watched them play for four more hours, no problem.

Took yesterday off to recover from the show. Made plans to visit my dad in Northern Arizona after Christmas. I'm looking forward to that.
